Mr Grade has put together a list of frequently asked questions about his private tutoring:

  1. How do your private tutorials work?

Once you contact Mr Grade, he will ask you some questions during your first lesson. This enables him to get an idea of what the exact challenges and goals the student has. Next, he will put together a bespoke learning programme that suits these challenges and goals and is 100% matched to the student. Once booked, Mr Grade can deliver the tutorial online or in the comfort of your home. Mr Grade recommends a minimum of 4 lessons for a particular topic, though this can be extended if needed.

  1. How does your private tutoring service work?
Mr Grade is based in Norwich and can visit you within a 15 mile radius of NR1. However, the teaching can be delivered online hence; by delivering lessons online, Mr Grade has the opportunity to teach students both nationally and for students who are residing outside of the UK.
  1. Are you DBS checked?

Mr Grade has an enhanced DBS check.

  1. How much are your tutoring fees?

One student:
£30 for a 60 minute lesson.

Two students:
£27 per student for a 60 minute lesson.

Three students:
£25 per student for a 60 minute lesson.

Four students:
£22 per student for a 60 minute lesson.

All costs are not subject to VAT.

Travel beyond 15 miles will be charged at 45 pence per additional mile.

Payment is required by way of cash or bank transfer before the tuition has been delivered. Bank transfer is recommended for monthly payments.

  1. Does your private tutoring service cover all subjects?

No, Mr Grade specialises in English Language and Literature learning for all students.

  1. I haven’t got a good Wi-Fi signal, so can Mr Grade still teach me?

Mr Grade can travel to you, from Norwich, within a reasonable distance. However, you will need a good broadband bandwidth for online learning.

  1. I haven’t got a PC or Laptop with a camera or microphone?

For online learning you will need a PC or Laptop with a functional camera and microphone.

Tutorials can often be taught using a tablet or a handheld device however, the operating system should have the most recent updates.

  1. How do I get started?

Your first step is to email learn@mrgrade.co.uk or call on 07810 878715 so Mr Grade can book a tutorial.

Mr Grade can get very busy and it is recommended that you book in advance, so you are not disappointed.

Mr Grade will send you a Zoom link and any other links to enable the tutorial.
